Stronger/Leaner Winter Edition: It’s a Party, and You Are Invited

Good news everyone!

Perhaps, you didn’t have the chance to participate in our 21 Days Stronger/Leaner programme this September. We know that many of our clients were travelling or simply busy with other commitments.  Or maybe, after completing the programme, you want to deepen your wellness practice and achieve even better results. Maybe you have just found out about the programme; and you are wondering what it can do for you.

Either way, we’ve got your back. We are running Stronger/Leaner Winter Edition this December, and you are invited, regardless of your fitness level, and your membership status with us.

21 days is a great way to kick-start a new fitness regime and start making healthier choices. But we decided to provide the opportunity to learn how to maintain a healthy lifestyle, to practice the existing healthy habits, as well as implement the new ones.

We planned to start stage two of the programme pretty much immediately, in October. However, after listening to the members’ feedbacks, we decided to give all of us a bit of breathing space, so the start date is moved to Monday, November, 20. The new programme will be 28 days long, and it will support you over the festive period.

Why December, when the festivities take over and wellness sometimes stops being a priority? 

This is exactly why. Oftentimes, all the festive eating and drinking, as fun as it is, leaves us feeling depleted, sluggish and heavy. We are dreading to step on the scale in January. But it does not have to be this way.

We are not suggesting going on a diet or missing out on all the fun – far from it. But the problem is not that one, two, or even a series of excessive dinners and drinks. The problem is the momentum it gains, which results in overeating over the extended period of time. The bottle of wine that we finish after a few festive drinks. The box of chocolate we are devouring while watching Gogglebox after a festive meal. Our default becomes moving less and eating more, and it gains momentum quickly. The new Leaner/Stronger Winter Edition programme is here to support you throughout the holiday season.

You will get the opportunity to learn how to:

  • Make smarter choices in the restaurant
  • Pause before opening another bottle of wine
  • Move every day regardless of your festive schedule
  • Prioritise your sleep
  • Hydrate for life
  • Breathe to support your physical and mental health
  • Make time to exercise most days of the week

Do I have to complete all the challenges?

Not at all. Decide what your priorities are and take it from there. To do that, choose the two areas of your life (especially during the holiday season) that you are most struggling with. Is it daily stress? Is it comfort eating? Is it not sleeping enough? Maybe you would like to target some specific areas of your body, such as stomach and triceps? We don’t want you to feel overwhelmed with all the materials we are providing, so you just choose what specifically suits you and ignore the rest, if you want to.

Some of the challenges, however, would be essential for achieving results. But worry not, you will be able to sustainably implement the new habits into your lifestyle. Plus, this is going to be a TEAM challenge, and anything you do will contribute towards your team’s victory.

Too much information in the WhatsApp group?

We are keeping the WhatsApp group chat as the easiest and the quickest way to share and receive information. However, we understand how overwhelming it might be! Ladies, we invite you to turn the notifications off and only open the group chat when you have time and patience for it. No one wants to be interrupted 200 times a day with constant pings and notifications. I personally have had my phone on ‘silent’ since 2010, including all the notifications. Just dedicate some 10 minutes a day when you are ready to open the chat and see what other members have to share.

Fitness assessments
